C-Section - Do I Have to Worry about It after Tubal Reversal?

The next concern for some women after tubal reversal is whether having a c-section has a higher likelihood. Not necessarily. Again this will depend upon the doctor you choose and how he or she performs the surgery.

In the case of one leading doctor who does not cut the muscle but does cut through the connective tissue, the answer is no. This type of surgery is no more likely to cause you to need a c-section than any other abdominal surgery. Remember, it is the fallopian tubes that are being operated on and not your uterus.

This is not to say it couldn't be needed for some other reason. That's possible regardless of the surgery. But after tubal reversal, you should have little to worry about a c-section being needed...unless you had one before and that is between you and your obstetrician.
